Founded in 1988 by Aristides Pantelos in Xanthi, TEHNI S.A. has experienced remarkable growth, expanding its operations to a sprawling 20,000 square metre facility. Specialising in the construction of Aluminium Entrance Doors, Aluminium and PVC Panels and Anti-mosquito Systems, TEHNI has become a leader in the Greek aluminium sector.

Easy Engineering: A brief description of the company and its activities.

With a focus on innovation, our modern production line boasts cutting-edge technology including laser metal cutting machines, robotic glass cutters and CNC pantographs.

Our diverse range of over 1200 door designs and panels, available in numerous colours  meets every aesthetic and manufacturing requirement. Committed to quality, our aluminium anti-mosquito systems provide environmentally friendly and effective pest protection for door and window openings.

At TEHNI, we recognize that our people are our greatest asset and we invest heavily in their training and development, with over 250 employees, including graduate engineers and economists, making up our skilled workforce. 

The company has obtained the most important certifications: the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 for the Occupational Health and Safety of Employees.

E.E: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

TEHNi started 36 years ago as an electrostatic paint shop. In the year 1995 expanded into the production of Insect Screen systems and aluminium and PVC panels.

Since 2006, it has focused on the manufacture of Complete Aluminium Doors using its own architectural systems.

Today, with an annual production of over 10,000 doors, it is one of the largest manufacturers of aluminium doors in South East Europe.

E.E: What’s the news about new products/services?

Last year TEHNi introduced a new range of doors under the name Multiframe. It is an innovative system that can be transformed into three types of doors:  Security, Pivot and Interior. It offers unlimited options of door surfaces, from wood, to aluminium, composite panels or even glass.

Another new innovation from TEHNi is the Mystique facades that fit all door types and offer the feel of natural materials such as wood, leather, marble and metallic textures.

E.E: What are the ranges of products/services?

Starting from the older products of TEHNi the Insect Screens series, includes Vertical, Opening and Pleated Screens.

The panels are divided into two groups: Aluminium panels which include Press, Traditional and INOX panels and Synthetic panels which include PVC, ABS and Combo panels which are a combination of aluminium and renolit foil.

The TEHNi door range, the most complete range of doors available in Europe.

Starting from the classic hinged doors, we offer the TLS 50, TLS 80 and TLS 80 Glazed, TLS 90 and Superior Platinum series.

In the PIVOT series, the Pivot Superior (manufactured up to 4 metres), Pivot Solution and Pivot Glazed  

Finally, the Multiframe collection with Security, Pivot and Interior doors

All TEHNi doors are CE marked and certified by notified bodies in Europe.

E.E: What is the state of the market where you are currently active?

TEHNi is present in more than 35 countries around the world. Events such as wars in Ukraine and Israel affect the global economy.

At the moment, the strong economies of Europe England, France and Germany are in a state of stagnation affected by global circumstances.

The American market has quite encouraging prospects while the Asian markets, still not back to the pre-covid era.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends

New market trends want doors with ever larger dimensions. It is a new architectural trend that wants the entrance of the house to be impressive and the door is a key element.

At the same time, the market is asking for simpler, minimal designs and original colour textures and materials. 

Superior Pivot doors and Mystique facings were created to provide solutions to these demands.

E.E: What are the most innovative products/services marketed?

The concept of innovation is identified with TEHNI products. 

In the past, many of TEHNi products presented as new, have become market standards: Flush doors, concealed hinges, recessed handles, LED lighting inside the handles, covering the door surface with glass, integration of biometric security features.

The latest innovation of TEHNi is the new Vision handles with colours identical to the door surface, wood, marble, INOX or even glass shades.

At the top of the innovations is the online Door Maker, an innovative application developed by TEHNi that allows the user to configure the door of his choice by selecting the design, colour and components and then send his choice by receiving an economic offer. 

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2024?

Having already passed the first half of 2024, it looks like we will move to growth rates of around 10%.

As we said, key European markets are stable and new partnerships that have been launched will start to contribute next year.

At the same time, we are completing two important actions: the study and implementation of energy saving solutions and the digital transformation of the company.

We continue with optimism and determination, remaining faithful to the principles of sustainable development.
