Álvaro Manzano Sánchez: We provide value added solutions for Transportation, Aeronautics, Defence, Telecommunications and Industrial Automation markets. We are focused on working with our customers from the beginning of the project, defining the product they need considering all certifications involved.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
Á.M.S: Let me talk about our Defence, Avionics & Aerospace rugged router – switch: the RELY-MIL-SWITCH-ROUTER is 100% Spanish state-of-the-art high technology device developed by RELYUM by SoC-e as a powerful, open and flexible COTS L2/L3 managed switch with edge-computing capabilities aimed at managing real-time communications for military vehicles with limited space availability and where the highest possible degree of robustness is required.
E.E: What are the ranges of products?
Á.M.S: This rugged router – switch combines the latest generation conduction-cooled electronics designed to fit enclosure mechanics and withstand harsh environments with a complete set of active auxiliary electronics developed by RELYUM by SoC-e and supervisory systems as well as it works under HSR/PRP (High-availability Seamless Redundancy & Parallel Redundancy Protocol), TSN (Time-Sensitive Network), Synchronization and Redundancy based on IEEE1588 and PTP, the Precise Time Protocol (Transparent Clock, Ordinary Clock and Boundary Clock).
E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
Á.M.S: Our main markets are constantly evolving, which forces us to be always one step ahead innovating.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
Á.M.S: Some years ago, Cibersecurity, IIoT and GPU & AI were “super niche” markets and now are involved in all industrial systems. In the near future we will see more and more AI integrated in industrial processes using our embedded sytems.
