Eleven Dynamics is a company focused on making factories smarter and more efficient. The company specializes in Metrology Automation and helps businesses adopt Smart Factory 4.0 using advanced software and data-driven solutions.
Interview with Hanna Obermeier, Marketing Manager at Eleven Dynamics AG.
What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Hanna Obermeier: We develop a platform called EDAS (Eleven Dynamics Automation Suite) for automated metrology. This helps factories combine their hardware and software, making production more flexible, efficient, and fully digital. Our solutions improve quality control, streamline production, and support predictive maintenance.
What’s the news about new products/services?
H.O: In 2024, we launched EDAS, a tool that helps industries automate complex tasks with ease. We also partnered with Scantech 3D, combining their hardware with our EDAS software to improve the way companies measure and analyze data.
What are the ranges of products/services?
H.O: Our main product is the Automation Suite, a software platform for automating measurement tasks and connecting different tools in a factory. We also handle complete projects for customers as a General Contractor, planning and organizing everything to meet their specific needs.
What is the state of the market where you are currently active?
H.O: The market for robotics and automation is growing fast, with revenue expected to reach over $46 billion in 2024. However, competition from Chinese suppliers is increasing, especially in the German robotics industry.
What can you tell us about market trends?
H.O: Trends in robotics and automation include using AI and machine learning, robots working closely with humans, and the creation of digital twins (virtual models of real-world systems). We’ve started pilot projects using AI cameras and see great potential in this technology.
What are the most innovative products/services marketed?
H.O: Our Automation Suite is one of the most innovative products because it connects different hardware and software seamlessly. It helps factories stay flexible and ready to adapt to new technologies.
What estimations do you have for the beginning of 2025?
H.O: By early 2025, we expect more companies to adopt automated metrology solutions to save time and improve accuracy. We’ll focus on expanding globally and improving our platforms to meet customer needs.
